In reply to a message from Montfort sent Thu 29 Sep 2005:

Very interesting, but something we already ‘‘know’’, eh?
E-Types ARE the most beautiful cars in the world! Yeah, Baby!

(And, Dave, I think our Golden Sand a really nice color on it.)–

In reply to a message from Ginger sent Fri 30 Sep 2005:

I’m with you on that Ginger.
Took a friend for a ride today. He’s now been in this car twice.
The last time was 41 years ago! I followed on the return trip as
my wife now took the controls with his wife onboard. Watching this
car on the road is almost as good as driving it.
‘‘Most beautiful car ever made’’…that’s what they said about the E-
type on the program and I’m sure it’s been said many times before
by many people. Quite a tribute when you think about all the other
gorgeous machines out there. Cheers, Dave–

I had almost decided to sell my in-pieces ots till I read this:
"Watching this car on the road is almost as good as driving it. ‘‘Most
beautiful car ever made.’’
It is. Can’t do it.

But I did see this in the local paper today, and am passing it along in
case it interests someone . I know nothing else about it, haven’t a clue of
who it is, so hope I am not out of line doing this.

“JAGUAR 1974 XKE. Beautiful, well maintained car. Red exterior, tan
interior, 52,600 miles Drives wonderfully. New rag top. $35000 OBO
