Have you guys seen this one?

''If you could have your ultimate car built for you, no
expense spared, what would you ask for? Malcolm McKay
samples one man’s dream

You’re working in Kuwait for an oil shipping line,
commissioning supertankers for multi-millions, but your
great love is Fifties sports racing cars. You want a new
toy, for fun road driving and the odd track day; you can
afford to indulge yourself, and another D-type replica
doesn’t do it for you.‘’

Looks a lot like an Aston-Martin DBR1 & 2 from the same era as the D-type.

Wow…with a power to weight ratio of 5.86 lbs/HP compared to a
Porsche turbo’s of 7.28, that thing should absolutely fly. Over
one third of the weight is in the engine and tranny! Where do we
sign up for a ride?

Bill,
Can you say Lotus 7 clone…

http://www.angelfire.com/biz6/stalkerv6/kitcar.html

Or even a factory five cobra.

Both cheap and go like stink. Not as beautiful I admit but for the
price differece I’d live with it

Good thing, too, about the FF Cobra, properly built? It’s a FAR
better car than the original!–

You should only be allowed to drive those at Disneyland! I mean,
is there any real way to modulate speed in traffic? Jeez those are
fast.

I have a video from FFR and in one scene, they are doing wheelies like
top fuel dragsters. Must be a bitch to drive on the street with only
two wheels on the ground. But think of the savings in wear on the front
tires.

So your saying that an FFR is environmentally friendly…that may
just tip SWMBO in the right direction. :-)–
