Hi David,
We will be there with our 66 ots too, look forward to meeting ya.
Just returned from a 4000 mile drive last week down through Reno &
Vegas, across Arizona and New Mexico to visit my 92 yr old aunt in
Clovis NM. Continued up to Denver to see my Jag friend Bob
Martin. Then over the Rockies to Grand Junction for the Western
States Concours. No small job cleaning the car up after 2,707
miles to the show but we managed to pull out a 99.957 for 3rd place
in champion division. Two trailer queens barely got better
scores:-)) It was a lot of fun for my wife and I both.
We continued our drive up through Utah, Nevada and SE Oregon to the
coast. The Jag ran beautifully although we lost TWO water pump
belts in AZ and NM. I picked up a GOOD belt in Denver from a little
British car shop that they got from XK’s. 80 mph and 106 degree
temps will test every part. The 3rd belt passed the test. I am
glad to say the engine oil pressure and temperature ran beautifully
all the way!!
ABFM featuring Jaguar should give us nice parking in the shade.
Nice to see all the Jags we can at the Raceway.

That is quite a drive! I went to college not far from there and know
what it is like to get to/from there and the Pacific Northwest.
Hurrah for you and your Jaguar John!

HEY FOLKS!!!
This is the way to properly use a “concourse car”. Good on ye’, John.

He tried to impress her. He was courteous and surprised her. But he knew the relationship was doomed when she tasted his home made asparagus-beet soup and made the same noise as a cat with a fur ball.

…
Congratulations John on a fine Concours score that I know resulted to
a huge amount of “parking lot” cleaning etc!

Hi John,
I always resent the fact that I missed you at the ABFM 2(?)years ago.
I think I still have your pictures and it is no wonder to me that you
scored so well!
Cheers,
