Charlie,
I have done this and it’s a big mistake! The movement of the
transmission immediately bends the cotter pin and it’s hell to get
out after that. It transmits noise into the cockpit.
Forget about it! No possible chance to lose the center bush, as
the hole in the mount is too small.
