Don’t understand this point at all. Petrol in the UK cost a fortune simply
because the goverment taxes the dickens out of it. Nothing to do with the
cost of the stuff. Are you inferring that the US government subsidizes our
gas??? We do pay the TRUE cost/price. It’s determined by an open market
based upon what Joe public will pay for the product. Just like everything
else we buy.
