What makes the needle on a speedometer jump around…
Jim, my speedo ran smoothly and then developed the occasional flick. This
became steadily worse until the speedo looked like it was about to give up
altogether. The cable was over-greased and some grease had worked its way
into the speedo head. Had it cleaned and now it’s perfect again.
