I call mine “The E-type”. Not very imaginative, but highly descriptive.

My 2+2 is “SPOT” for obvious reasons.

my TR250 was called “Nigel Wrench” after all the special tools I needed to
keep it running. I would ‘take Nigel to lunch’

MT

“Mik Jaguar” because of the pseudo-ego plate I have – MIK 182.

My blonde OTS is obviously PrtyKty, a buxomous female. My sIII 2+2
with the big v-12 and silver metallic paint was male, hence the Silver
Fox; the first male car I ever had, I believe.

I’ve named my primrose coupe Elisibeth, with an s. Her partner is maggie
who is a brg mgb. But I’m the only one who will actually call the cars by
their names and even then most people just think I’m nuts.
My honda is just “the honda”.

Question was made with regards to naming once car.
Mine imposed its own name - always in the shop with a original primrose
colour - what else could it be than: “the lemon”

Name for our '69 fhc is “Mary Agnus”. Named after a lady we met at a steak
house in Knoxville on the way home (Baton Rouge) from purchasing the car in
Maryland. We went to eat and there was a group of “mature” couples out for
dinner and drinks. We struck up a conversation and from there on it was “look
out”. Reason for the name: Although being older Mary Agnus was more fun than
any of the younger folks in the bar. Seemed Appropiate for the Jag.

Steve and “Mary Agnus”

The E-Type is “The Turquoise Terror!”

Most others are referred to as “Expletive Deleted!”.

The names I call mine vary all over the map from barely civil to
unprintable to ‘turn the air blue’, depending on how my current endeavors
are going. Today has been a ‘turn the air blue’ day, working on ball
joints.
