Jos,
Verrry Nice…From your creative photography of aerial to
the fine work on your car and short (relatively) time that
you were able to have your car redone…All presented on
your well done site…

Great site Jos. I am also a ‘‘ham’’ WA9ZVF. Have been licensed
since 1966. Haven’t been ‘‘on the air’’ in quite a few years
although my station is operative (I think).

I am also not much on air, conditions on higher bands are not too good.
We’ll have to wait for the next sunspot cycle.
As for Jag content,
Yesterday I started work on my torsion bars in order to get a higher ride.
By the book the measured ride hight should be 8 1/4 inch, mine was 6.7 inch.
The RH is done and is now 9.4 inch but I suspect it will sag a bit.
I have the old TB’s still on. Maybe I have to fork over 700 Euro’s for new
ones.

Lovely cars - what a project on the E-type! My favorite
color for the E! Your website is very professional, great
job! Your radio shack looks like something out of Star Wars…–

When I see a SF film, I always look at the electronic gear on display.
One sees a lot that is familiar, mostly used for another purpose as sold for.

And your site it’s very good.
I did not expected that the Oranges lost the game. To me, they
where one of the serious winner of the Euro 2008. Like I said in
other post, in two years we will have more in the World Cup.
Glad to be of help.
This Not Cont plagued me for over a year, I even put in another Alpine radio.
Then I got bitten by trying to find the fault and traced the handshake circuit.
When, in my repair work, I cannot find an intermittent fault I mostly
resolder the components
in the suspected region.
That’s how I found this unsoldered side of the resistor. I put my
soldering iron to the resistor and it
moved. When soldered at both sides it will not move.
Never had a problem again with the sound system.
Enjoy,
Jos
