[E-Type] S1 Dunlop Master Cylinders

It looks like Northwest and Welsh both offer Dunlop-like
replacement master cylinders. If anyone who has used these
has any suggestions, either online of offline if negative,
I’d like to hear about them please!–

When you say ‘‘Dunlop-like’’, do you mean a clone of Dunlops? I
recently installed a Lockheed MC from Welsh and so far, it
works great with no leaks.–

Mike’s 3.8 will use two small tandem cylinders Mark, not the
Lockheed servo system.–

Mark, they appear to have the inlet lines in the same place
as the Dunlop and the outlet in the same place as the
Dunlop. I hesitate to call them clones.–

Re-reading my post, I guess I wasn’t clear in making my point.
With all of the complaints that have been posted here over the
past year or so regarding poor quality rebuild kits and
replacement MC’s, the point that I was trying to make is that
the Lockheed unit that I received from Welsh slid right into
place, works perfectly, and so far, no leaks. Maybe the same
can be said for their Dunlop original or clone.–

It is precisely because of all the bad news about MC and MC
kits that concern me.
Yours were Girling type I suppose. I’ll call Welsh and see
if they’re the same source, Thanks Mark–
