Hi - I am wiring up switches now on center dash. 1967 sereies
1 fhc 4.2. My ignition switch has 3 spade connectors (1
double).
uh oh - wiring diagram shows 4 poles. Looks like I might have
wrong ignition switch. I’m not S 1.5 but all kinds of things
were changing anyway - did jag go to a 3 connector ignition
switch later? I am doing the delco alternator upgrade so might
just need one from the alternator skipping the voltage
regulator.
But with one needed from starter switch, ammeter and one to the
6 fusebox, it appesrs like I need a new switch.
I did not do the disassembly on my car and my old harness came
to me in a big plastic bag with no categorization. Could
anyone provide a picture of the ignition switch on their center
dash that shows which harness legs the white leads are from at
the switch and fusebox - right now I’m starting out and have a
ton of white leads some of which belong on the fusebox - anyone
have a pic tht shows the specific harness leg and where the
white leads go to? I’ve got to be careful here. thanks–

Glenn, If you go the photo albums and search for ''ignition
switch ‘’…you might find something helpful.My cars are SII
and III…so of no help.–
