[E-Type] Series I Brake light switch

Could someone please advise where the brake light
switch is located in a Series I OTS. I have searched
the archives and could not find the answer I need. I
have a 1964 model year. Thanks in advance.

Harris,
Mine is on the firewall between the engine and booster. I’ve read that earlier cars have it mounted on the picture frame.

Harry,
It is on the picture frame but depending on whether its a LHD or
RHD decides which side it should go.
LHD goes on the drivers side or left side of the water pump.
RHD goes on the drivers side or right hand side of the water pump.
It fits in the top entry point of the brass cross peice just inside
where the main engine frame meets the picture frame.
