Alan, a tool that could be very helpful to you is the search function, to search the JL archives. It’s the magnifying glass up at the top right of the screen, by your user icon:
Typing “series 1.5 starter relay” into the search field resulted in several results. Here’s one thread with some good information, and some wiring diagrams that might be helpful to you:
