A great thread, I was able to load about 5 gals. of 110 octane racing gas
into the E while in Elkhart Lake for the vintage races, and the car ran
fabulously with no pinking, I was able to drive it hard and grin like a
maniac. Plus the exhaust smelled like the race cars!
I re-filled the tank when it got to the half way point, and the beneficial
effects where still there, still no pinking.
I do not know what the timing is set for, how can I determine this? I do
not have a timing light…
