[E-Type] To Hell and back (non-content)

Greetings everyone. I disappeared a few months back to deal with a
pending divorce and could not talk about it at that time. I have
re-subscribed to the List, now that the ordeal is over, and the dust has
settled. I won’t get into the details, but suffice it to say that I
survived. And yes, I was able to keep my OTS ironically (the now
ex-wife said she would have taken it but she would not be able to
maintain it without me around) She made up for it in plenty of other
ways.

Within the new couple of weeks, I plan on starting to put time into
JagTips (jag-lovers.org e-type section) again and revamping it. Any
good tidbits that I missed over the last few months, please feel free to
drop to me.

Best Regards to all,
Mark Hicks

Welcome back. Sorry about the ordeal

Hey Mark -
Got a certain bounch to the way you walk these days? A little lighter
on your feet without a fat wally to slow you down, you say! Sorry to hear
that all that personallity when away! You’re still good looking in the OTS,
on bad hair day however, so I think you will be able to simulate some of the
positive aspects of being single again. God forbid if I were single and
didn’t have my OTS. I’d be down right ugly.
About your site, I’ve been doing some serious mole work and would like to
help you update the number of members and where for your map format. Going
to help John with his also. He offered to post to his list my updates as
well. Personally, I find your format most appealing, but that is because
I’m not a Technophile.
I as much interested in the people, as I am a bucket of beautiful bolts, by
any name.
Also, presently partial to the V-12 and the Series III by happenstance.
John’s format including home town
is a better format for year specific stuff.
Now comes before the court Mikee and yet another list. Hummm! So where
to hide another URL?
Not a problem for me as my boy in Calif. can and will reserve space for my
list on his FatSofa Web Site.
What if you and John were next door to each other on your site? Or , is
there something in the way of politics involved with this sort of thing that
is common to the web? I would like to see something like that. Would make
it easier for everyone to “go to” quick and easy, thereby encouraging sign
ins. ???
Ideas on this ? Now have 339 listers and can’t seem to find an end in sight
yet! What have I started?

Mark,
Welcome back. Sorry to hear about your ordeal.
When you left, you mentioned that the list had changed & that you didn’t
need to be part of it any more.
There was a bunch of weird stuff going on then for sure.
You’ll be happy to hear that since that thread died out, the list has been a
very cordial place. There have been many technical threads, and no
unpleasentness that I can recall. It must be SPRING!
Again, Welcome back!

I just wanted to say that I can change all of that. Just give me some time.

My car was finally picked up yesterday…might be here in a couple of weeks,
even. I think the darn thing has stodd longer than I first expected. It may
have been off the road for about 10 years, due, oddly enough, to an
impending divorce, though I’m sure there were other circumstances.

I just hope she comes back to life!
