I’m changing my final drive unit from a 3.07 to a 3.54 for vintage racing.
A friend of mine has a 3.77 available. Does somebody know the top speed for
these ratios (with a 3,8l) ?
Thanks,

Fabien,
The formula is:
MPH = RPM x overall tire diameter divided by gear ratio x 336.

Hi Fabien,
as an approximation: (max rpm*60/1000 * tyre circumference)/axle ratio
e.g. 600060/10002,1/3,77 = 200 km/h
Best regards
