I’m getting ready to strip and repaint my tank, Its from a 64 3.8
FHC. I am going to make a stencil to duplicate the TRICO emblem,
but I can’t read the writing I assume it is their address)
underneath. Anyone know what it says?
Thanks,
Brian–

The CJ site has a huge number of great pics.
Good pic of a restored tank here:
More info at the page below along with a pic of the original
tank. Look about halfway down the page: http://classicjaguar.com/cj/889859.html--

Just out of interest…the CJ site says the featured car was
purchased in 1963 for $6265. I did a quick search and found that $1k
1963 = $7031 in todays money. Assuming this is correct (I only did
one quick search) the car would cost about $44k
today…bloody cheap imo!On Sat, Jun 29, 2013 at 10:43 PM, DrewScherz drewscherz@gmail.com wrote:

That car is an amazing find. I’ll have to ask Dan Mooney at CJ
about it next time I’m out there. I followed the restoration
on the website with great interest and well remember the
tornado in Wichita Falls. 15K miles on such a high end '64 E-
type is fantastic.–
