Gosh, no-please tell. I just remember as a kid being impressed
with its ‘’‘50’s Frenchness’'. I actually have a great passion for
the quirky cars of the 50’s. Our next door neighbor had an MG-TD
and I remember riding from the base (I grew up in Cuba on the GTMO
base) to Guantanamo city (before Castro-this dates me, I know) over
really hilly roads in it. I was smitten (for lack of a better word)
with all thing foreign for life after that.

Gosh no, we couldn’t afford such a classy car. My father owned a 4CV and
two obligatory parts cars. That’s probably where I picked up some of my
current bad habits.
