Yes the black stuff in the red box is strong stuff. Just be careful not
to get it anywhere it shouldn’t be. Also it works best, and is easiest
to remove (should you ever need to) if you apply a very thin layer to
both parts, let them tack up, and then assemble them. It took me almost
four hours to remove my front cowl seal because I applied the stuff too
thick.
