Early XK120 DHC

Apart from Les Hughes’ report re the earlier cars we have in Australia (earlier
than 667009 reported on by Guy Broad in Jag Driver), there is also 667006 which
is photod at page 96+ of Boyce. Jaguar XK Series, The Complete Story. Regd GFN
479, said to have been purchased in 1966 for Pds 65 and used as everyday
transport for 7 years thereafter. Pretty beat up! Yeah, let 'em keep making
the claims, but we’ll find 'em out here … !

Philip Porter, who wrote the J.D. article announcing 667009, also indicated that the
XK Register, “back in the 70’s”, listed number 14 as the earliest known RHD. I
thought he was writing the definitive XK book? Sign me up for your book, John.
