Success. I have the 700r4 installed. I haven’t had too much time to play with it yet. Only 20 mins.
Just wanted to do a quick follow up.
I have an 89 xjs with 5.3 and a 4.11 rear.
With the turbo 400 it revved 4000 rpm at 70mph
It now revs 2850 at 70mph.
Very happy. Best of both worlds.
The first gear is useless for most people but will come in handy for my towing. For all else, it just sort of snaps through the gears. It is quite quick up to 50, then eases to 70 quite nimbly as well. I haven’t taken it over 73 yet.
