Error in transmission article?

In the “Drivetrain maintenance” article on this site it says…

“As a result of a complete revamp, the 1993-on 6.0 liter V12 has a standard GM engine/transmission bolt pattern. Cars with this engine come with a 4-speed version of the GM400.”

Is this correct? Firstly I thought the transmission still had a ‘Jaguar’ pattern and secondly I thought the transmission used was a GM 4L80e?

You are correct on both counts, I believe. The 6.0 has a different bolt pattern than earlier cars, but it’s still a pattern unique to the Jaguar V12. And the GM 4L80e is a GM400 with electronic controls and another speed added.

Thanks for the clarification.
