Etype photos - post some of your favorites!

John Carey, your black coupe picture has been my phone wallpaper for the past year or so. Inspiration while performing my work every day! I cropped it and did the front end for my lock screen, and the rear end for general wallpaper.

I don’t think there is a bad color for an etype, but I did see a survey once where dark blue was voted as THE color for an E type

PS - no one has yet posted what I consider to be one of the most famous photos of an etype ever… I won’t post it until you guys say “uncle” so the sweepstakes can continue!

Ron, the black one is just a photo I grabbed off the internet somewhere because I liked it. Mine is the Opalescent SIlver Grey one in my second posting.

A couple killer etype photos. And there are so many more!

More pics from above the car! Is it just me who thinks this is the most striking view of the car? The first time I saw a line drawing of the plan view I thought “That can’t be, are the sides really that straight?”.

Hi,

Earlier this week, in the medieval part of Tallinn, Estonia. It’s rare treat to have dry streets on this part of the world this time of the year.

Hi,

I don’t know that car, but the colour is (nowadays very, very rare) Sherwood Green, right?

Cheers,

There is photo of Sherwood green FHC in my 68 USA version of the showroom brochure. You can see it in the brochure section on the Jag Lovers site

Yes Pekka , Sherwood Green. Many times these cars have the green interior but this one is tan. Here’s a shot of the interior:

From the Geneva Motor Show March 2011.
Believe this is the car shown there in 1961.

This is from my 7 year restoration nearing completion. It is one of the features that differntiates the series one and defines it as iconic. IMHO
