Well spotted, Phillip
Yes, the blue 2+2 had steel wheels when I bought her. Got a Coupe a few months later and decided to fit the wires to the 2+2, before selling her.
I was halfway when the photo was taken.
Then got new hubs, wires, tires and knock ons for the Coupe, which I still have.

Regards
Chris

The last car is RHD chassis 2.

And bonus points for naming the gentleman with the bootlace tie.

Norman Dewis, famous Jaguar Test driver.

A UK national treasure!

Hi Chris,

Your cat? Pretty clever, ours only would get under the car, or on top of the bonnet, they do like the heat.

Not my cat. The cat belonged to the owner of a chambre d’hôte in Chablis. Clearly French cats have impecable taste.

Beautiful. All it needs are 4 wheels with black oxidized silver tires.

Yeah, that is quite the photo!

Cheers, Alan

Well this one is certainly significant! I think that may be Henry Manney of Road and Track on the far left.

With my wife, our dog, and both cars as the featured winners in their classes at the Bucjingham, PA Concours.

At a filling station on a old country road…

Two of my favorite shots of my old etype
