Exclamation mark light

Good morning everyone.
I have a question :raising_hand_man: when I’m driving and I have to stop the car quickly i push hard on break pedal and I do have a exclamation mark lights up. And when I push break pedal smoothly no exclamation mark.
Is any one had a same problem?
Thank you.

Hello Sergey - is the exclamation symbol inside a circle that also has two curve marks, one on the left side, and one on the right side, of the outside of the circle - the circle is the wheel brake drum, and the curve marks are the brake pads - if so, then this is the brake system warning light - if you go to Jaguar Dashboard Warning Lights | Your Complete Guide you will find a short explaination, and symbol pictures of the instrument warning lights - Tex.

Thank you so much for reply Adam_Terry_||
Probably have to replace drums and pads and bled the brakes.

Sergey - you are welcome - just for clarification, the circle symbol, with the two outside curve marks, is the symbol from years ago, when “brake drums” (the circle) and “brake shoes” (the curve marks) were used, prior to having brake disc rotors and brake caliper pads used on the cars - Tex.
