just my vote to go back to the static Icons along the top row.
I like to cruise along and see who is online and if I want to click on a user to see who it is I end up chasing the string back and forth.
and its annoying to pass over them with the cursor and have them jump out like those paper new years party horn things.

Actually, the were broken when they weren’t doing the rollup, but Gunnar had a moment to update to the latest version of the software yesterday evening and this is one of the things that was “fixed” with the update.
I am seeing less timeout errors when I use the search since the update, so there is that to be happy about.
