External Rear View Mirror`

That is the proper adjustment: taught that when I was a driving instructor.

hope you taught people to turn their necks as the last move!

I personally try not to drive in that nasty blind spot just on the rear wheel of another vehicle, some vehicles have weirdly large blind spots, and big pillars.

graphic ads on TV atm here showing exactly where the blind spots are for large trucks

Caution, old fat people dont turn their necks!

I love the dual external teardrop chrome mirrors, original style.
Frustratingly useless as a rear vision mirror, looks excellent though

You got that right, Tony. I am old and a bit on the fat side. I have a fused spine, surgery performed for spinal curvature at age 13. Only the neck vertebrae are available for turning my head. Always limited range, but worse now…plus I get annoying clicks when turn. Afraid that something will break! Definitely impedes safe driving, no doubt about it.

Calls for defensive driving, Bob - stay in your lane, or always use indicators before moving over. Most drivers will try to avoid you if they have some warning…
