Can anyone tell me where the “face vent demand potentiometer” for the climate control system is (within the dash) on a 95-97 XJ6?

PS Hope someone has the answer. It seems like all the true experts on the X300 & X350 cars left the list when current new software started!
I am pretty sure you refer to the little thing next to the center vent that looks like it slides up or down, but is actually the edge of a rotary knob.
I don’t think we lost many. A few left because they didn’t like the new software, but not many - I’d guess about 5.
I keep an eye on reactivations… even almost a year on I’m still seeing people reactivating their old accounts every now and then.

I was thinking more of that lump of wood we’ve all got in our shops. None of the surfaces are flat, or parallel, and it’s too oil soaked to burn in the fireplace, but somehow… it comes in handy every now and then.
Gary has been likened to many things over the years, but never until now as a very large square “plank”!
In fact many punters speak highly of him in the Smoke.
