A person on fb is posting a ff3 return code on his trip computer…1989 3.6 …What model year did return codes start showing on xj-s’s ?

FF3 stands for Coolant Temp. Sensor / no signal or signal error.
All the fault codes on 3.6’s trip computer are available from second half of 1987, where 9CU ignition module has been installed. You can easily identify the 9CU cars with MAF sensor present under the bonnet.
