Does anyone have a guide or advice for fitting chrome headlamp beadings for S1.5 OTS

Hi Ross, I did this recently on my S2 after the bonnet was painted. I assume the 1.5 will be the same. It wasn’t that easy. There are 2 washers under the cup that’s rivetted to the bonnet that the chrome beading snaps over.
In my case there was the paint was now too thick to allow the beading to be snapped over the cups. I carefully drilled out the rivets and installed 3 washers under new cup rivets which did the trick. You have to hit down fairly hard on the chrome beading for it to snap into place. I used a rubber hammer on a couple of them and I still have one that won’t snap over.
I also reused the rubber seal because I couldn’t curve the new seals to fit. I’ve heard that you have to cut the rubber seal on the inside of the curve and use super glue.
