This car was dismantled by my PO, and I recvd many disorderly packed boxes !! Many years later I am restoring it and i am now at the stage of installing the external electrical fittings . I have the rear electricals done and I am now on the side markers. I have 3 electrical flashers, 2 have 2 eletrical tabs , and the gold one has 3. I wondered if any of them is/are
relevant to this car !!!The rectangular one is for the hazard lamps and fits a socket behind the center dash panel, center and forward against the firewall.
The short round one has the correct number (3) of prongs for a turn signal flasher though the original Lucas unit would have been longer like the other one.
The short one may work fine, no idea what the one with 2 prongs is for unless the 3AW has just 2 prongs (can’t recall and am still abed).
As George says the two round ones are aftermarket but the one with 3 prongs should work just fine.
The hazard flasher is a nice piece of originality; not often seen on cars so hang onto it!
Yes, a nice touch of originality - though apparently it was used on several American cars and comes up often on eBay. Sometimes for silly money but sometimes more reasonable ($14 shipped):
