I’m into changing the front shocks and mounts on our 2000 XK8 Coupe. While I am in there I am replacing the upper control arm bushings. I see now how the bushes corrode and become gaulded to the control arm. I am going to load the new bushes with lubricant to help thwart this in the future but the next time I am in there to change the lower bushes I am going to install Zerk fittings so that silicone lubricant can be injected. It would have been nice if grease fittings would have been installed at the factory. The job of replacing bushings would be much, much easier. Luckily the fulcrum shafts did not wear or corrode.
