Front wheel bearings - advice please

I have no doubt that’s the next challenge as I have read guides ranging from using dial gushes to ‘left a bit right a bit’ also wondering how to tell if a duff which has been in storage for 18 years is serviceable!

I always read ‚tighten until the wheel starts to bind slightly, then back off a flat‘ or so.

Sounds good - even my mechanical limitations should rise to that!

James the easy way to tell if a bearing is ‘going out’ is to jack the car up and spin the wheel while having a finger on the road spring, this will show up as a vibration on the spring.

Remember: A hair too tight is better than too loose. You always want rollers to roll, never to just slide around.
