I found a old type fuel filter , the new paper ones with a spring in the bottom to hold it up , are a very poor design , looking on e-bay I come across this type , looks far better to me , then the spring type !!

i may buy one. I put a second filter in the gas line and found lots of small particles that made it past the paper filter
