Hi all , I have been told by an auto electrician that i have a battery drain he thinks is being caused by the fuel injection module . The car is a 1989 4.0 xj40 , i’m in Australia ,my question is would i need an exact part number replacement module ? I have read that what continent you live on has specific ECU’s because of emission laws . Any part numbers or advise will be very much appreciated . Mark
I would get a second opinion before going down that route

Definitely need a second opinion, my 89 had a battery drain 2 days and it was dead. took some trial and error but was a cheap easy fix!
