Sounds a little too small? Should be 1/2 OD and 3/8/ ID. I’ve tried 12mm OD 8mm Id and it was kinda not quite right… Are we talking about the same thing? Or maybe you’re labout the viton seal that goes inside of the hose fitting nut? (Small bore):

Yup - definitely talking different things… same type of thing, but different model and fuel line. When I did the fuel lines into the tank, I had to get Viton tubing for the seals or double up on o-rings.
In any case, you can get 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD (McMaster-Carr)
The tank one is 1/2 od 3/8th id.
The one from fuel rail hose to hard line os 12x8mm (aj6 engine)
