Really? When Jaguar introduced the XJ12 and XJ-S, each of which
weighs something like 1000 pounds MORE than a Series 3 and probably
has a higher percentage of the weight on the rear wheels, they
decided to ditch vented rotors in favor of the garbage sandwich
rotors with jingling iron rings? For heaven’s sake, why?
This isn’t correct. Jaguar didnt ditch vented rotors when going from E to
XJS. Standard V12 E types have non vented rear rotors with jingle rings
