Subject: [xj-s] Found Empty In-line Fuse Holder
While reinstalling the interior of my '86 XJS (after a year of begin
out of the car) I found a disconnected in-line fuse holder with no
fuse in it. It is located behind the small panel under the air vent
next to the driver’s (LHD) foot. The wire is black and one end is
attached to ground and the other goes into the wire loom. What
is this fuse for and what rating is it supposed to be? The sad part
is I don’t remember if I took the old fuse out (a year ago) or if it
has always been like that.
