Could I interest you in a lovely bridge with marvelous patina in quaint

Ted U & Dave Q;
But the opposite is also true for those folks “looking” for that
special widget and another finds it offered on eBay…
Said lister mentioning an item of interest to the group might help
out another…
Personally, I think the “proper netiquette” might be for the XK-List
bidder to announce that he/she is bidding on a particular item (by number)
so the others are aware and not bid against our brother/sister XKer…
I think we are civilized enough to “honor” a “first come-first
served” situation for an eBay auction…
This would, of course, have to be an “understood gentleman’s
agreement”. there is nothing “binding” but our word and honor…

Actually brings up an interesting point of “netiquette”…

Another list I am subscribed to (non-automotive), has an “unwritten policy”
that current eBay auctions of interest aren’t discussed, for exactly that
reason…

Something to think about…

I really do dislike it when someone does this on something that I am

So far, my eBay-buying burn percentage is less than 1%. But even that
burns!!
