Good evening Jag family anyone familiar with Count Basie and big band music back in the big band era?

Here’s Count Basie back in the early 60’s in his early e type enjoying his beloved convertible, wow that must have been great!

Neal Hefti did some pretty good movie soundtracks. .

A quick search and it looks like the E-type was featured on several albums

Count Basie lived in Red Bank, NJ at 229 Mechanic Street (an appropriate address for a car guy!).

Red Bank is now home to the Count Basie Theatre, a wonderful venue for live music and performances.
