Green ring on user icon?

If noticed that some user icons have a green ring around them, and some do not…whats the significance? Recently i’ve also noticed that some users have what i would call a “sub-icon”…a smaller icon on the lower right of their user icon…just curious what that relates to? Lastly on android phone…i cant find the American flag in the profile list.

The green ring means that the user is currently logged in.

The sub icon or “flair” indicates that the user has subscribed (paid) via patreon. Admins also have a flair, although I don’t see mine on android.

The American flag is there, but you have to scroll down to “us”.

EDIT: Now I can see the moderator flair on my avatar.
