Hi my name is Mick i have a 2008 X Type with headlight washers i am trying to replace the washer pump can this be done with the washer bottle in place or not thanks

I don’t know the answer to your question but I would suggest finding an exploded diagram on one of the Jag parts supplier websites. That may give you some idea.
Just looking at my 04 X Type engine bay, the washer bottle doesn’t look accessible from the top. Hope someone else can give you more info.
Accourting to my book you might have to take the right front wheel
off to have some room to look at those items next to the water
pump. Everything is located behind the wheel.
