How do I: Make my browser remember my Jag-lovers login?

Some users are having trouble getting their browser to save their user credentials so that they can logon to the Jag-lovers site. Here is a rundown on how to set this up.

First off, a bit of explanation. You can use either your email or your username in the logon screen, your password is the same regardless of which you choose to use. From the server’s perspective you are your username or your email, and you prove that by knowing the password.

When you click on the “Log In” icon in the top right corner, the login window appears, you can enter your username in the “User” field:

Or you can enter your email in the user field:

Then enter your password and click on “Log in”. If your browser hasn’t already saved the password, then it will ask if you wish to save the password for this account and site. If you click on “Save” then your browser will remember these values and prefill the login dialog whenever you wish to log into the site. Here is what that dialog looks like in Chrome (the dialog is similar in other browsers):

If your browser isn’t saving your password, or has saved a password which you have since changed, then you need to remove the entry for forums.jag-lovers.com from your saved passwords. Any time you change your password you will have to perform this step.
