ha…having old cars that need fixing is 3rd world as well, just…look at Cuba !! 50s and 60s cars, We call them classic–to them just cars they need to fix. But I know plenty of first world folks…with a few nice classics, too broke to fix them. They were not quite as broke just a few years ago…and that is a 1st world problem…The 3rd world folks were always poor…(except for the elites). But–back to 1st world–buying and selling classics–the big auctions are sure busy…and some record $ sales too. The OP–how to sell–auctions can be good for top quality cars at a well publlicized major name auction…I never understand tho, no reserve cars unless they are super rare exotics so in demand by the super rich–that you know it is gonna go for a big number with multiple bidders on the phone.
