… that the Chubby engine—the forum’s avatar—is an old style, cradle-mount 283… the engine Dad “lumped” the Silverstone with, in 1960!
As well as a “generator” mounted hih and off the left front front.
Circa 75, I bought a 61 Willys 4x4 pickup. Titled that way, but it turned out to be a 56.
And lumped with a similar “bow tie”. Rear axle ratio far too low, but it ran well. Tons ofd torque, climb a tree.
Freeway, not so good !!
