These are pics of the pistons in my '63 E-type FHC. Does anyone recognize the manufacturer and the piston size. I believe it is 9:1 but I have no proof. I’d also like to know if it is oversize or not.
Definitely 9:1, looks like OE Std. size
I concur: standard 9:1 piston.
Norman, is there something you see that indicates that they are standard size?
I too had thought they looked like 9:1 but I was thinking they were also new during the rebuild in 1993-5. These are OEM pistons?
Scot, if they are O/S, it would be stamped in the top of piston

Yes indeed! I knew that, or I should have known that as its common with oversize pistons. So that means my engine has standard pistons fitted and has been rebuilt, but not over-bored. Hmmm, I don’t know what to make of that. But thanks Norman.
