Hi All . Iam fitting my new thermo fan to my car and am looking for a good place to connect the wire for the ignition + when ignition is turned on . I have been told to use it on the aircon or the wiper washer relay ( neither of these work on my car ) so need another good place under the bonnet . Car is 1990 4 litre .

You do not need the wiper (windscreen?) washer relay itself to work on your car.
All you need is a source of Ignition Switched Power in the engine bay to power your fan relay and a convenient source of that in that area is the White/pink wire going to the Yellow windscreen washer relay base pin 86 which is mounted on the right side radiator support bracket. The washer relay itself need not even be fitted.
