Intermediate speed hold bellows

Has anyone replaced the intermediate speed hold bellows inside a DG 250 Transmission? I can’t seem to get the rubber piece out to replace it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Here are the instructions based on the manual. I’ve never done it, but sure would like to hear from someone that has. I have my Mk1 up on jack stands ready to do this.

I replaced the bellows on my Mk2.
It was leaking like crazy.
After much time trying to access the part thru the inspection opening in the trans tunnel, I slid under the car and removed the back portion of the transmission.
I got that back portion on the bench and got the new bellows installed. I don’t remember the bench testing instructions, but a good idea.
I think the bellows rides on a splined shaft that needs to be installed correctly.
I got the trans back together and No Leaking!
Intermediate hold didn’t work but I was so glad to stop the leak, I let it go.
