Well Paul, I’m proud of you for that!
…after all of that, I’m pretty sure the bolts holding my fenders to the car are not what I’m worried about when it comes to shear or compressive strength. In most of our applications where the appearance of a bolt is of importance, the item being fixed is far weaker than the fastener.
