Fixed a bad lock then tried to test it before connecting the latch.
I messed up real bad. I read about going through the holes under the license plate. Is that the best bet? I so upset and depressed. Pleas help

Thank you. I went through the holes in the
License plate. Strung 2 wires to the lever and pulled downward and it popped open 
fixed!
