According to James Bond news website MI6, Ford still has a three-picture
$100 million deal for exclusive product placement and Ford is pushing
Jaguar as Bond�s new ride, given that Bonds traditional Aston Martin
is up for sale. MI6 reports, �Despite the film being in the early stages
of script development by regular scribes Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, MI6
has been tipped off that the new Jaguar XF model - also due out in 2008 -
is being groomed for OO7?.
Bond has a proud history with Aston Martin but he hasn�t always driven Astons.
Putting OO7 behind the wheel of a Jag would certainly be a fantastic way to
kick off sales.
